The Hikvision DS-2CE16D0T-LPFS is a 2 megapixel FULL HD security camera with hybrid illumination that provides colour images at night and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Colour night vision is delivered by Smart Hybrid LEDs: the camera is equipped with IR LEDs with a viewing distance of up to 25 m and white light illumination with a viewing distance of up to 20 m. When paired with an advanced recorder, it can automatically switch lighting mode (to white light) when detecting a human or vehicle, capturing detailed colour images. Once no important object is detected, it switches back to high-performance infrared illumination. This function can also be adjusted manually, and you can choose to use only one lighting mode. Thanks to its dust- and water-resistant design, it is suitable for outdoor installation. Its IP67 protection rating indicates that the camera can withstand harsh weather conditions. The built-in microphone also enables audio recording.
The Hikvision TurboHD-TVI desktop DVR recorder is designed to deliver maximum flexibility and high resolution. It records and manages footage in Full HD 1080p resolution. Thanks to the HDMI output, recordings can be viewed on a large-screen TV or a computer monitor. The DVR supports 8 HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS channels up to 2MP Full HD and 10 IP channels up to 5MP at 30 FPS/channel. Motion Detection 2.0 is available on the analogue channels and can distinguish vehicles and human shapes from other objects such as leaves or lights, significantly reducing false alarms. The recorder provides 1 x SATA port (max. 4TB HDD, not included), 2 x USB 2.0 ports and a 100 Mbps RJ-45 network port.
For our camera systems, customers can choose between two options: DIY cable kit and pre-assembled cable kit.
DIY cable kit: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable that carries both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer to the cable ends – to help with this, we have prepared an installation guide available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 m of UTP cable per camera. If you need more cable, simply let us know in the order comments (+100 Ft/meter).
Pre-assembled cable kit: In this case, the camera cable already has the connectors factory-installed and they cannot be removed, so you only need to connect the recorder, power supply and cameras – no wiring work is needed. The base package includes 10 m camera cable with BNC and 12V power connectors per camera. If you need longer cables, please indicate this in the order comments (20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 options are also available).
The Hik-Connect app lets users manage their security devices from a single platform. On a computer, an online interface is available after registration, where you can add your devices using their serial numbers. The application offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera access with family members or other trusted people.
