The Hikvision DS-7604NXI-K1 is an advanced AcuSense IP NVR that can manage up to 4 IP cameras with a maximum resolution of 12MP. It supports H.265+ video compression, reducing storage requirements by up to 75% compared to older H.264 recorders. It supports hard drives (HDD) up to 10 TB. The NVR offers 4K HDMI output, so camera footage can be viewed in 4K on a TV or monitor. It features multiple smart functions that improve surveillance efficiency and reduce the need for manual intervention. With AcuSense technology, the recorder provides advanced motion detection, human/vehicle classification and analysis, significantly reducing false alarms. Face recognition features include face comparison and facial recognition. The smart search function enables efficient video retrieval within a selected area, while smart playback improves review efficiency. Using the Hik-Connect app, live and recorded images from the connected IP cameras can be viewed remotely on a smartphone. This NVR does not have PoE, so camera power must be provided via a PoE switch or direct power supply. AcuSense functions of the NVR are also available with limited capability when used with non-AcuSense cameras.
