This set is a complete, pre-assembled Provision IP camera system that includes everything needed for reliable, Full HD quality monitoring of a smaller premises, apartment or holiday home. The 4MP dome camera delivers sharp, detailed images day and night, while the included NVR and PoE switch allow for a clear, straightforward system setup.
The Provision DI-340IPSN-28 dome camera can be easily mounted on both walls and ceilings. Its robust metal housing makes it suitable for outdoor use. Thanks to the 4 megapixel resolution, the image is sharp and detailed, so important details – such as faces or close-up views of licence plates – can be clearly visible with the right configuration.
Built-in infrared LEDs provide night vision of up to approximately 20 metres, even in complete darkness. The 2.8 mm lens offers an approx. 107° field of view, allowing a single camera to cover a larger area, such as a yard, entrance or parking space.
The Provision PR-NVR5-4100X+(MM) desktop NVR can handle up to 4 IP cameras with resolutions up to 5MP, so the system can be expanded with additional cameras later. The recording mode is freely selectable: motion-triggered, cyclic or continuous recording can be set, allowing storage usage to be adapted to how the system is used.
Connected to a monitor or TV, live images and recordings can be viewed directly. With an internet connection, the NVR also offers remote access: events can be monitored and recordings reviewed via mobile app or computer, depending on the configuration.
A built-in hard drive (not included) is required for video storage, with a maximum supported capacity of 6 TB. The HDD can be purchased separately, and installation can be carried out by the retailer according to their instructions if required.
The included 4+2 port PoE switch is used to build the IP camera network. The IP cameras and the NVR are connected to the switch using the supplied cables. With PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology, both camera power and video signal are transmitted over the same cable, so each camera only needs a single UTP cable.
There are 6 ports in total: 4 for connecting cameras, 1 for the router and 1 for the NVR. This provides a simple, easy-to-understand network layout without separate power supplies and complex wiring.
The package includes a 10 metre, pre-terminated IP camera cable that only needs to be plugged into the NVR and the camera. Since both the video signal and power run through a single cable, installation is quicker and easier. If 10 metres is not sufficient, longer cable options (for example 15, 20 or 25 metres) may be available according to the product information.
The surveillance system does not include built-in storage, so a separate HDD (not included) is required for recording. According to the indicative information, with a 1000 GB HDD and continuous recording from 1 camera, approximately 1 week of footage can be stored, with a potentially longer period when using motion-triggered recording. With a 2000 GB HDD, the continuous recording time can be roughly doubled, depending on the settings and actual activity.
