The Provision 4MP 1-camera IP security system is a complete, pre-assembled kit that includes everything needed for basic monitoring of a home, holiday house or small business site. The 4-megapixel IP camera delivers sharp, detailed images day and night, while the 4-channel NVR recorder allows you to add more cameras later if needed.
The Provision I2-340IPSN-28 IP camera comes in a robust, weather-resistant metal housing, so it can be installed both outdoors and indoors. It can be easily mounted on a wall or ceiling, allowing flexible positioning to cover the desired area.
Thanks to the 4-megapixel resolution, images are detailed both day and night, and the built-in IR LEDs enable monitoring in complete darkness at distances of up to approximately 20 meters. The 2.8 mm lens provides an angle of view of about 107°, so a larger area can be covered even with a single camera.
The kit includes the Provision PR-NVR5-4100X+(MM) desktop NVR recorder, which supports up to 4 IP cameras with resolutions up to 5 megapixels. You can freely choose the recording mode: continuous, motion-triggered or cyclic recording can be configured.
By connecting the recorder to a monitor or TV, you can follow events live. Remote access over the internet via mobile app and computer is also supported. For video storage, a separately purchased HDD is required (not included), with a maximum capacity of 6 TB.
The included 4+2 port PoE switch is used to build the IP camera network. Connect the IP camera and the NVR recorder to this switch using the supplied cables. Thanks to PoE, both data and power are delivered to the camera over a single cable, so no separate power supply is needed at the camera, which simplifies installation and reduces cabling.
Of the 6 ports, 4 are available for cameras, 1 for the router and 1 for connecting the NVR, allowing you to build a clear and practical system layout.
The package includes a 10-meter pre-assembled IP camera cable that only needs to be connected between the NVR and the camera. Both video signal and power are transmitted over a single cable, making installation simple and neat. If 10 meters is not sufficient, the cable length can typically be adjusted as required (e.g. 15 m, 20 m, 25 m), depending on actual availability in the range.
The surveillance system does not include built-in storage; for continuous recording a separately purchased HDD is required. In practice, an approximately 1000 GB HDD can typically store around 1 week of footage from 1 camera with continuous recording, and potentially several weeks with motion-triggered recording. With a 2000 GB HDD, storage time with continuous recording can typically increase to around 2 weeks, and even longer with motion-triggered recording, depending on settings and usage.
