This Hikvision 5 megapixel dome security camera kit is a practical solution for monitoring family homes, offices, apartments and small business sites, both indoors and outdoors. The package includes three 5 MP Hikvision dome cameras (DS-2CE76H0T-ITMFS) with up to 30 m night vision, plus a 4‑channel TurboHD 5 MP DVR (DVR-204Q-M1) with remote access. The included installation kit (power supply, video baluns, UTP cable, power connectors) supports straightforward setup and everyday use.
The Hikvision DS-2CE76H0T-ITMFS 5 MP dome cameras use EXIR infrared LEDs to provide up to 30 m night vision, so the image remains usable even without additional lighting. The 2.8 mm lens offers an approx. 90° field of view, making it suitable for monitoring driveways, entrances, corridors or larger indoor areas.
The compact dome design allows ceiling or wall mounting, helping the cameras blend into most environments. Their IP67 weatherproof metal housing is designed for outdoor installation, resisting rain and dust when installed correctly. Each camera includes a built‑in microphone, so the system can record audio alongside video where local regulations and permissions allow.
The Hikvision HiLook DVR‑204Q‑M1 is a 4‑channel hybrid DVR designed for home, office and small business systems. HiLook is Hikvision’s value‑focused product line, offering practical video surveillance functions with a straightforward interface.
The DVR supports HDTVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS analogue cameras, and can also handle IP cameras, making it suitable for both new installations and expanding existing systems. Motion Detection 2.0 analytics helps distinguish people and vehicles from other movement, which can reduce unnecessary event clips and speed up searching.
On the analogue side the recorder accepts up to 3K / 5 MP / 4 MP signals, and on the IP side it supports IP cameras up to 6 MP. Modern compression standards (H.265 Pro+, H.265 Pro, H.265, H.264+, H.264) enable efficient storage use and lower bandwidth needs. Thanks to HDMI and VGA outputs, live and recorded video can be displayed on a monitor or TV, while network connectivity allows remote access via the internet. The DVR supports one SATA hard drive up to 10 TB (drive not included), providing ample capacity for everyday recording.

Basic tools (side cutter, screwdriver, utility knife) are usually sufficient; no crimping tool is required. The package includes 10 m of UTP cable per camera. If you need longer runs, you can request extra length in the order comments (surcharge per metre as specified on the store page).
Here, the camera cables are delivered with factory‑fitted connectors that are not removable. This allows you to simply plug the DVR, power supply and cameras together without any cable assembly. The base package includes 10 m COX10 cable per camera: 10 m COX10.
If you require longer factory‑made cables, you can indicate this in the order comments; options typically include 20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 variants.
The Hik‑Connect platform allows you to manage your Hikvision and HiLook devices from a single interface. After registering, you can add devices by serial number and access them via the Hik‑Connect mobile app or a web/PC client.
The software supports live view, playback and basic device settings. You can customise notifications and share camera access with selected family members or colleagues if needed. Remote access requires an active internet connection on the DVR side and on the viewing device.
Can I watch live and recorded footage over the internet? Yes. If the DVR is connected to the internet and you use the manufacturer’s app or PC software, you can access live and recorded video remotely, subject to network availability.
Does the system work without an internet connection? Yes. Internet is only required for remote access. Local recording and playback work offline when a compatible HDD is installed in the DVR (hard drive not included).
Should I use motion‑based or continuous recording? Motion‑based recording is generally recommended, as it can reduce storage use and make searching for specific events faster and more efficient.
Do I need to manually delete old recordings? The DVR can be configured to overwrite the oldest recordings automatically once the hard drive is full, so manual deletion is usually not required.
What is the recommended maximum cable length per camera? For the supplied power and video cabling, a maximum of around 30 m per camera is recommended. Longer runs may require adjusted power solutions or different cabling.
What is the warranty period? The system is covered by a 2‑year warranty as specified by the seller. In case of issues, customers are instructed to contact the store via the published support email address.
