Our Dahua 8 megapixel security camera system offers an effective outdoor monitoring solution for family homes, offices, apartments and business premises. The kit includes three 8 megapixel 4K security cameras (HAC-HDW1800TL-A) that provide crystal-clear image quality in complete darkness up to 30 metres, thanks to built-in Smart IR LEDs and the high 4K resolution. The camera is also equipped with a built-in microphone for audio recording. The system includes a 4-channel HDCVI 8 megapixel XVR digital recorder (XVR5104HS-4KL-I3) that supports facial recognition, as well as human and vehicle detection. These smart video analytics functions help efficient operation and make it easier to identify intruders when needed. The recorder interface is also available in Hungarian. With the included installation kit (camera power supply, video balun, UTP cable, power connector) the system is easy to install and operate, making it a suitable choice even for customers with limited technical experience.

The Dahua HAC-HDW1800TL-A is a high-end 8 megapixel indoor/outdoor analogue security camera. It delivers outstanding image quality day and night thanks to its high-performance IR LEDs and 4K lens, providing clear images up to 30 metres even in total darkness. Its metal and plastic housing has an IP67 rating, meaning it withstands rain, dust and sunlight. The camera supports switchable AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS modes, so it can be used with most analogue systems. It also features advanced functions such as noise reduction and backlight compensation to improve image quality under different lighting conditions. The device is equipped with a built-in microphone for audio recording.

The Dahua XVR5104HS-4KL-I3 XVR/DVR recorder provides reliable hybrid digital video recording. As a hybrid recorder, it supports both analogue and advanced IP cameras with excellent image quality and features. It offers 4 AHD/CVI/TVI/analogue channels and 4 IP channels. The DVR supports 4K HDMI output, so you can view the camera images in 4K on a TV or monitor. WizSense technology provides intelligent human and vehicle detection to help reduce false alarms. It supports facial recognition cameras and their functions, which can be very useful in real situations by making identification easier. With an active internet connection, remote access is available, allowing you to view camera images on a smartphone, tablet or computer, so you can check live events from virtually anywhere. The recorder comes with a Hungarian-language menu.

Camera system installation kit with all essential components

For our camera systems, customers can choose between two cabling kits: a DIY kit and a pre-assembled cable kit.

DIY kit: From each camera to the recorder you only need to run a single cable that carries both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer to the ends of the cable – to help with this, we have created a detailed installation guide, available at the following link: Installation guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The kit includes 10 metres of UTP cable per camera. If you need more cable, you can let us know in the order comments (+180 HUF/metre).

Pre-assembled cable kit: In this case, the connectors are factory-fitted to the camera cable and cannot be removed, so you only need to connect the recorder, power supply and camera – no wiring work is required. The basic kit includes 10 metres of COX10 cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order comments (20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 versions are also available).

Mobile access via DMSS app, available in Hungarian

The Dahua DMSS app lets users manage their security devices from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera access with family members or relatives. Frequently Asked Questions about the camera system

Can I view live images or recordings from the cameras over the internet? Yes, if you connect the DVR to the internet and install the manufacturer’s app or software on your smartphone or computer. This gives you remote access to recorded footage and live video, so you can monitor the area from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes, the DVR does not require an internet connection if you only want to view recordings locally. The DVR needs an internal hard drive (HDD, not included with the systems) that provides enough storage for the recorded footage. You can play back the recordings stored on the hard drive at any time.
Is it better to use motion detection or continuous recording on the DVR? We recommend motion detection, as the DVR only records when movement is detected, which reduces storage usage and wear on the drive. This helps you avoid browsing through unnecessary footage and makes it easier and faster to find important events.
Do I need to delete recordings after a certain period? No manual deletion is required. The system manages storage automatically: when the hard drive reaches full capacity, the DVR overwrites the oldest recordings with new ones.
What is the maximum cable length between the camera and the recorder? The recommended maximum cable length is 30 metres to ensure stable power supply to the cameras. Longer distances may cause issues with camera operation. For greater distances, you should use a regulated power supply or power the camera from a closer point.
