The Hikvision DS-7608NXI-K1 is an advanced AcuSense IP NVR recorder that can handle up to 8 IP cameras with a maximum resolution of 12MP. It supports H.265+ video compression, reducing storage requirements by up to 75% compared to older H.264 recorders. It supports hard drives (HDD) up to 10 TB. The NVR offers 4K HDMI output, so the image from the IP cameras can be viewed in 4K on a TV or monitor. It includes a wide range of smart functions that improve surveillance efficiency and reduce the need for manual intervention. With AcuSense technology, the recorder provides advanced motion detection, as well as human/vehicle detection and analytics, helping to reduce false alarms. Face recognition features include face image comparison and face detection. The smart search function allows efficient video retrieval in a selected area, while smart playback improves playback efficiency. Using the Hik-Connect app, you can remotely view the image of the IP cameras connected to the recorder from your phone. This NVR is not PoE-capable, so camera power must be provided via a PoE switch or direct power supply. The NVR’s AcuSense functions are also available with limited capabilities when used with non-AcuSense cameras.
