The Dahua NVR2108-S3 is an 8-channel IP NVR that supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 12MP. It features Smart H.265+ video compression, helping reduce storage requirements by up to 75% compared to older H.264-based recorders. It supports hard drives (HDD) up to 16 TB. The HDMI and VGA outputs can be used simultaneously with a maximum resolution of 1080p, so you can connect both a TV and a monitor at the same time. This NVR supports Dahua intelligent cameras, enabling object classification (human and vehicle detection), smart motion detection (significantly fewer false alarms), and AI search (filtering recordings by selected objects or events). With the DMSS mobile app, you can remotely view the live feed from connected IP cameras on your phone; the app is also available in Hungarian. This NVR does not have built-in PoE, so camera power must be provided via a PoE switch or direct power supply.
