The Hikvision DS-2DE2C400SCG-E outdoor PT IP camera delivers 4 megapixel resolution and features a 2.8 mm fixed lens providing a 105° field of view. Its IP66-rated housing is resistant to water and dust. Vivid, full-color night images are ensured by ColorVu technology, the extra light-sensitive lens, and the advanced image sensor. The built-in white LED illuminator provides up to 30 m range and further enhances night-time color image quality. The white LED can be manually adjusted and the camera can also be used without any illumination. With its integrated microphone and speaker, it supports two-way audio, allowing you to communicate through the camera remotely. The camera is equipped with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology to improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions (e.g. when facing strong backlight, the camera compensates to keep the image usable). It supports the H.265 compression format, which is particularly important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space. Simple installation is enabled by PoE, as both video signal and power are transmitted over a single UTP cable, eliminating the need for multiple cables. The camera records to a microSD card (up to 256 GB), which is not included.
