The Hikvision DS-2CD2683G2-IZS vandal-resistant outdoor IP camera offers 8 megapixel resolution and a varifocal, motorized 2.8–12 mm lens providing a 30°–108° field of view. The IP67-rated housing is water and dust resistant, while the IK10 rating indicates protection against physical impacts. High-performance IR LEDs deliver night vision up to 60 m. The camera features motion detection and WDR technology to improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions (for example, when facing direct sunlight, the camera compensates to keep the image usable). Available smart AcuSense analytics include line crossing, area intrusion, object detection, face detection, and human and vehicle classification. It supports H.265+ compression, which is especially important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space for recordings.
