The Hikvision DS-2CD1083G2-LIUF outdoor IP camera offers 8 megapixel resolution and a 2.8 mm fixed lens, providing a 113° field of view. The IP67-rated housing is resistant to water and dust. Infrared or white LED illumination ensures visibility at night up to 30 metres. Using the white LED, the camera can deliver colour images even in complete darkness. The two lighting modes can be switched automatically by the camera or adjusted manually if preferred. The camera features smart motion detection and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology, which improves image quality in challenging lighting conditions (for example, when facing direct sunlight, the camera compensates to maintain a usable image). Smart motion detection can distinguish human shapes and vehicles from other objects, significantly reducing false alarms. It supports the H.265+ compression format, which is particularly important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space for recordings. PoE support simplifies installation by transmitting both video signal and power over a single UTP cable, eliminating the need for multiple cables. The camera also includes an SD card slot supporting memory cards up to 512GB. Its built-in microphone allows audio recording.
