The Dahua IPC-T1E49-A-IL is a 4 megapixel IP camera featuring hybrid light technology, which automatically switches between IR and warm light for optimal night surveillance, allowing it to deliver color images even at night. The automatic switching can also be adjusted manually or turned off. The IR illumination covers up to 30 m (black-and-white night image), while the white light (color night image) illuminates up to 15 m in dark areas. Motion detection also supports automatic lighting control: when the camera detects motion, it turns on the white LEDs so that color footage is captured of the event at night. The camera has digital WDR, which improves image quality under varying lighting conditions (e.g. when facing direct sunlight, the camera compensates to produce a usable image). It comes with IP67 weatherproof rating. It supports H.265 compression, which is especially important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space for recordings. Easy installation is enabled by the PoE function, as both video signal and power are transmitted over a single UTP cable, eliminating the need for multiple cables. The camera is equipped with a built-in microphone.
