The Dahua IPC-HFW2449S-S-IL is an 8 megapixel IP camera featuring Smart Dual Light technology, which automatically switches between IR and warm light for optimal night surveillance, up to a distance of 60 metres. WizSense technology enables intelligent human and vehicle detection, helping to reduce false alarms. True WDR improves image quality in challenging lighting conditions (for example, when the sun is shining directly into the lens, the camera compensates to deliver a usable image). The camera is rated IP67 for weather resistance. Its IK10 rating indicates protection against external impacts such as blows. It supports H.265+ compression, which is particularly important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space. Simple installation is enabled by PoE, as both video signal and power are transmitted over a single UTP cable, eliminating the need for multiple cables. A MicroSD card slot is available for local storage. The camera is equipped with a built-in microphone. It offers 1 alarm input and 1 relay output, and includes an audio output.
