The Dahua IPC-B1E49-A-IL is a 4‑megapixel IP camera with hybrid light technology that automatically switches between IR and warm white light for optimal night monitoring, allowing it to deliver color images even at night. The automatic switching can be adjusted manually or turned off if needed. The IR illumination reaches up to 30 m (black-and-white night image), while the white light (color night image) covers up to 15 m in dark areas. Motion detection also controls the automatic lighting: when the camera detects movement, it turns on the white LEDs so that color images are recorded of the event at night. The camera features digital WDR, which improves image quality in challenging lighting conditions (for example, when there is strong backlight, the camera compensates to produce a usable image). It has an IP67 weatherproof rating. It supports H.265 compression, which is particularly important for IP cameras, as it helps reduce required bandwidth and storage space. Easy installation is enabled by the PoE function, as both video signal and power are transmitted over a single UTP cable, eliminating the need for multiple cables. The camera is equipped with a built-in microphone.
