The Hikvision DS-2CE16K0T-LFS security camera is a 5 megapixel 3K camera with hybrid lighting that delivers color images at night and can be used both outdoors and indoors. Color night imaging is provided by Smart Hybrid LEDs: the camera is equipped with infrared LEDs with up to 30 m range and white light illumination with up to 20 m range. When paired with an advanced recorder, it can automatically switch lighting mode (to white light) when it detects a human shape or vehicle, capturing detailed color footage. Once no important object is detected, it switches back to the high-performance infrared LED illumination. This function can also be set manually; you can choose to use only one illumination mode. Thanks to its robust design it is suitable for outdoor use as well. Its IP67 protection rating indicates that the camera is resistant to harsh weather conditions. With its built-in microphone it can also record audio.
The Hikvision 7108HQHI-M1/S TurboHD-TVI analogue desktop DVR recorder is a versatile device that can handle most analogue cameras up to 5 megapixel resolution. Thanks to the HDMI connection, footage can be viewed on a large-screen TV or on a computer monitor. The DVR supports 8 HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS channels and 4 IP channels (by converting analogue to IP, you can use up to 12 channels in total). Motion Detection 2.0 is available on analogue channels; it can distinguish vehicles and human shapes from other objects such as leaves and light changes, significantly reducing false alarms and resulting in more accurate motion-based recordings. It is compatible with the Hik-Connect app, so you can view camera images over the internet from your phone or computer. It features a Hungarian-language menu and mobile application.
For our camera systems, customers can choose between two packages: DIY cable kit and pre-assembled cable kit.
DIY kit: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable, which carries both power and video signal. The necessary connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer to the cable ends – to help with this we have prepared an installation guide available at the following link: Installation guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 m of UTP cable per camera. If you need longer cable runs, you can indicate this in the comments field when ordering (+100 HUF/meter).
Pre-assembled cable kit: In this case, the connectors are already factory-fitted to the camera cable ends and cannot be removed, so you only need to connect the recorder, camera power supply and cameras without any wiring work. The basic package includes 10 m camera cable with BNC and 12V power connector per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the comments field when placing your order (also available in 20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 versions).
The Hik-Connect app allows users to fully manage their security devices from a single platform. On a computer, an online interface is available after registration, where you can add your devices by serial number. The application provides live view, playback and device settings. Users can customize notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera views with family members or other trusted people.
