The Hikvision DS-2CE78K0T-LFS security camera is a 5-megapixel 3K camera with hybrid illumination that delivers colour images at night and can be used both outdoors and indoors. Colour night imaging is provided by Smart Hybrid LEDs, as the security camera is equipped with infrared LEDs with up to 40 m range and white LEDs with up to 20 m range. When paired with an advanced recorder, it can automatically switch the lighting mode (to white light) when it detects a human or vehicle, helping capture detailed colour footage. Once no important object is detected, it switches back to high-performance infrared illumination. This function can also be set manually, and you can use only one lighting mode if preferred. Thanks to its robust design, it is suitable for outdoor use. Its IP67 protection rating indicates resistance to harsh weather conditions. With its built-in microphone, it can also record audio.
The Hikvision 7108HQHI-M1/S TurboHD-TVI analogue desktop DVR recorder is a versatile device capable of handling most analogue cameras up to 5-megapixel resolution. Thanks to the HDMI connection, footage can be viewed on a large-screen TV or a computer monitor. The DVR supports 8 HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS channels and 4 IP channels (by converting analogue channels to IP, up to 12 channels in total). Motion Detection 2.0 is available on the analogue channels and can distinguish vehicles and human shapes from other objects such as leaves or lights, significantly reducing false alarms and resulting in more accurate motion-triggered recordings. It is compatible with the Hik-Connect app, so the camera images can be viewed via the internet from a phone or computer. It features a Hungarian-language menu and mobile application.
For our camera systems, customers can choose between two cabling options: DIY package and pre-assembled cable package.
DIY package: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable that carries both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are installed by the customer on the cable ends – to help with this, we have prepared an installation guide available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 m of UTP cable per camera. If you need longer cable runs, you can let us know in the order comments (+100 Ft/meter).
Pre-assembled cable package: In this case, the camera cable already has factory-installed connectors on both ends, which are not removable, so you only need to connect the recorder, camera power supply and camera without any wiring work. The basic package includes 10 m camera cable with BNC and 12 V power connector per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order comments (also available in 20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 lengths).
The Hik-Connect app allows users to manage their security devices from a single platform. On a computer, an online interface is available after registration, where devices can be added using their serial numbers. The application provides live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera views with family members or other authorised users.
