The Hikvision DS-2CE16D0T-LPFS is a 2 megapixel FULL HD security camera with hybrid lighting that delivers colour images at night and can be used both indoors and outdoors. Colour night vision is provided by Smart Hybrid LEDs: the camera is equipped with IR LEDs with up to 25 m range and white light illumination with up to 20 m range. When paired with an advanced recorder, it can automatically switch the lighting mode (to white light) when detecting a human or vehicle, capturing detailed colour images. Once no important object is detected, it switches back to high‑performance infrared illumination. This function can also be set manually, allowing you to use only one lighting mode if preferred. Thanks to its dust‑ and water‑resistant design, it is suitable for outdoor use as well. The IP67 rating indicates that the camera is built to withstand harsh weather conditions. The built‑in microphone also allows audio recording.
The Hikvision TurboHD-TVI desktop DVR recorder is designed to provide maximum flexibility and handle high‑resolution recording. It supports and records Full HD 1080p footage. Thanks to the HDMI output, recordings can be viewed on a large‑screen TV, and a computer monitor can also be connected. The DVR supports 8 channels HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS up to 2MP Full HD and 10 IP channels up to 5MP at up to 30 FPS per channel. Motion Detection 2.0 is available on the analogue channels and can distinguish vehicles and human shapes from other objects such as leaves or lights, helping to significantly reduce false alarms. The unit offers 1 x SATA port (max. 4TB HDD, not included), 2 x USB 2.0 ports and a 100 Mbps RJ‑45 network port.
For our camera systems, customers can choose between two cable packages: a Do‑it‑yourself package and a pre‑assembled cable package.
Do‑it‑yourself package: Only one cable per camera needs to be routed to the central unit; this single cable carries both power and video. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer to the cable ends – to help with this, we have prepared a detailed installation guide available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is needed, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 m of UTP cable per camera. If you need longer cables, simply let us know in the order comment field (+100 Ft/m).
Pre‑assembled cable package: In this case, the camera cable is supplied with factory‑fitted connectors that cannot be removed, so you only need to connect the recorder, camera power supply and camera – no wiring work required. The basic package includes 10 m pre‑assembled camera cables with BNC and 12V power connectors per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order comment field (also available in 20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 versions).
The Hik-Connect app lets users manage their security devices on a single platform. On a computer, an online interface is available after registration, where devices can be added using their serial number. The application offers live view, playback and device configuration options. Users can customize notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera views with family members or other trusted people.
