The Hikvision DS-2CE16D0T-LPFS is a 2 megapixel FULL HD security camera with hybrid lighting and colour night image, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Colour night vision is provided by Smart Hybrid LEDs: the camera features IR LEDs with a range of up to 25 m and white light illumination with a range of up to 20 m. Paired with an advanced recorder, it can switch lighting mode automatically (to white light) when it detects a human or vehicle, capturing detailed colour images. Once no important object is detected, it switches back to high-performance infrared illumination. This function can also be set manually, allowing you to use only one lighting mode if preferred. Thanks to its dust- and waterproof design, it is suitable for outdoor installation. Its IP67 protection rating indicates resistance to harsh weather conditions. The built-in microphone also enables audio recording.
The Hikvision TurboHD-TVI desktop DVR is designed to offer high flexibility and support high-resolution recording. The unit records and stores footage in Full HD 1080p resolution. Thanks to the HDMI output, footage can be viewed on a large-screen TV or connected PC monitor. The DVR supports 8 channels of HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS up to 2MP Full HD and 10 IP channels up to 5MP, 30 FPS per channel. Motion Detection 2.0 is available on the analogue channels, distinguishing vehicles and human shapes from other objects such as leaves or lights, significantly reducing false alarms. Interfaces include 1 x SATA port (max. 4TB HDD, not included), 2 x USB 2.0 ports and a 100 Mbps RJ-45 network port.
For our camera systems, customers can choose between two packages: a DIY installation package and a pre-assembled cable package.
DIY installation package: Only one cable per camera needs to be routed to the central unit, carrying both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer at the cable ends – to help with this, we have prepared an installation guide available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 m of UTP cable per camera. If you need longer cables, simply indicate this in the order comments (+100 Ft/meter).
Pre-assembled cable package: In this case, the camera cables come with factory-fitted connectors that cannot be removed, so you only need to connect the recorder, camera power supply and camera – no wiring work required. The basic package includes 10 m camera cables with BNC and 12V power connectors per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order comments (20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 options are also available).
The Hik-Connect app allows users to manage their security devices from a single platform. On a computer, an online interface is available after registration, where devices can be added by serial number. The application offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also makes it possible to share camera views with family members or other trusted people.
