The Hikvision DS-2CD1383G2-LIUF outdoor IP camera offers 8 megapixel resolution and a 2.8 mm fixed lens with a 113° field of view. The IP67-rated housing is resistant to water and dust. Infrared or white LED night illumination provides visibility up to 30 metres. Using the white LED, the camera can capture colour images even at night. The two illumination modes can be switched automatically by the camera or set manually. The camera features smart motion detection and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology, which enhances image quality in challenging lighting conditions (for example, when there is strong backlight from the sun, the camera compensates to deliver a usable image). Smart motion detection can distinguish human shapes and vehicles from other objects, filtering out most false alarms.
