The Hikvision DS-2CD1083G2-LIUF outdoor IP camera offers 8 megapixel resolution and a 2.8 mm fixed lens with a 113° field of view. The IP67-rated housing is both water- and dust-resistant. Infrared or white LED illumination provides night vision of up to 30 m. When using the white LEDs, the camera can capture colour images even at night. The two illumination modes can be set automatically by the camera or adjusted manually. The camera is equipped with smart motion detection and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology, which improves image quality in challenging lighting conditions (for example, when there is strong backlight, the camera compensates to deliver a usable image). Smart motion detection can distinguish between human shapes, vehicles and other objects, helping to filter out most false alarms.
