In addition, the recorder features built-in PoE power supply, which directly powers the connected cameras. This means you only need a single UTP cable (included in the kit) between the NVR and the IP camera for operation. Colour night images are enabled by Smart Hybrid LEDs, as the camera is equipped with infrared LEDs with up to 30 m range and white light illumination. With advanced video analytics, it can detect humans or vehicles and automatically switch the lighting mode to white light, capturing detailed colour images. When no important object is detected, it switches back to high-performance infrared illumination. This function can also be set manually, allowing the use of only one lighting mode if required. The excellent F1.0 aperture lens further enhances performance by letting more light reach the sensor, providing clear, colourful images even in very low light. The Hikvision DS-7104NI-Q1/4P/M is a 4-channel IP NVR that supports IP cameras up to 6MP resolution. It supports H.265+ video compression, helping to reduce storage requirements by up to around 75% compared to older H.264-based recorders. It can handle hard drives (HDD) up to 6 TB. HDMI and VGA outputs can be used simultaneously with up to 1080p resolution, so you can connect both a TV and a monitor at the same time. Intelligent functions include line crossing and intrusion detection. Using the Hik-Connect app, you can view the images of the connected IP cameras remotely from your phone. The NVR features 4 PoE ports, allowing you to connect and power your security cameras directly from the recorder without additional power supplies or a separate PoE switch.
