The Hikvision DS-2CD2T83G2-4I outdoor AcuSense IP camera offers 8 megapixel resolution and a 2.8 mm fixed lens, providing an approximately 100° field of view. The IP67-rated housing is resistant to water and dust. Thanks to the high-performance IR LED, night vision reaches up to 80 metres. The camera is equipped with motion detection and WDR technology, which improves image quality in challenging lighting conditions (for example, when there is strong backlight, the camera compensates to deliver a usable image). Available intelligent AcuSense analytics features include line crossing, area intrusion, object detection, face detection, and human and vehicle classification. It supports the H.265+ compression format, which is particularly important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space for recordings. Easy installation is enabled by PoE, as video signal and power are transmitted over a single UTP cable, eliminating the need to pull multiple cables. The device includes a card slot for SD cards.
