The Hikvision DS-2CD2346G2-I outdoor dome AcuSense IP camera offers 4 megapixel resolution and a 2.8 mm fixed lens, providing an approximate 100° field of view. The IP67-rated housing is resistant to water and dust. Built-in IR LEDs ensure clear night vision up to 30 meters. The camera features motion detection and WDR technology, improving image quality in challenging lighting conditions (for example, when facing strong backlight, the camera compensates to deliver a usable image). Available smart AcuSense analytics include line crossing, intrusion detection, object detection, face detection, and human and vehicle classification. It supports the H.265+ compression format, which is especially important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space for recordings. Easy installation is enabled by PoE, as both video signal and power are transmitted over a single UTP cable, eliminating the need for multiple cables. The device also features a card slot for SD memory cards.
