The Hikvision DS-2CD2146G2-I vandal-resistant outdoor AcuSense IP camera offers 4 megapixel resolution and a 2.8 mm fixed lens, providing an approx. 100° field of view. The IP67-rated housing is water- and dust-resistant, while the IK10 rating indicates high impact resistance against vandalism. IR LED night illumination delivers clear images up to 30 metres. The camera features motion detection and true WDR technology to improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions (for example, when facing strong backlight, the camera compensates to keep the image usable). Intelligent AcuSense analytics include line crossing, area intrusion, object detection, face detection, and human and vehicle classification. It supports H.265+ compression, which is especially important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space. Easy installation is enabled by PoE, allowing power and video to run through a single UTP cable, so no additional cabling is needed. The device also features a built-in card slot for SD memory cards.
