The Hikvision DS-2CD1343G2-LIU outdoor IP camera offers 4 megapixel resolution and a 2.8 mm fixed lens, providing a 98° field of view. The IP67-rated housing is resistant to water and dust. Infrared or white LED illumination ensures clear images at night at distances of up to 30 metres. When using the white LED, the camera can capture colour images even in the dark. The two illumination modes can be set automatically by the camera or adjusted manually if required. The camera is equipped with smart motion detection and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology, which improves image quality in challenging lighting conditions (for example, when facing direct sunlight, the camera compensates to keep the image usable). Smart motion detection can distinguish human shapes and vehicles from other objects, significantly reducing false alarms. It supports the H.265+ compression format, which is particularly important for IP cameras as it reduces the required bandwidth and storage space for recordings. Easy installation is enabled by PoE, as both video signal and power are transmitted over a single UTP cable, eliminating the need for multiple cables. The built-in microphone also records audio.
