The Hikvision DS-2CE17H0T-IT3F 5MP security cameras deliver detailed 3K resolution footage day and night. Built-in high-performance infrared LEDs provide up to 40 m night vision, so the scene remains visible even in complete darkness. The 2.8 mm lens offers an approximately 90° viewing angle, allowing you to cover larger areas with fewer cameras. The modern bullet design supports both ceiling and wall mounting. The IP67-rated plastic housing is designed for outdoor use and withstands typical weather conditions.
The Hikvision 7108HQHI-M1/S TurboHD-TVI desktop DVR can handle most analogue cameras up to 5 megapixel resolution. It supports 8 HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS channels and up to 4 IP channels (for a total of 12 channels when analogue channels are converted to IP).
HDMI output allows you to connect a TV or monitor for live view and playback. Motion detection 2.0 on the analogue channels can distinguish people and vehicles from other moving objects such as leaves or light changes, helping to reduce false alerts and making it easier to review relevant events.
The recorder is compatible with the Hik-Connect platform, so you can watch live and recorded footage remotely via smartphone or computer over the internet. Both the recorder interface and the mobile app are available in Hungarian.
You can choose between two cabling packages for this camera system:
In the DIY package, each camera requires only one cable to the central unit, carrying both power and video signal. The necessary connectors (video balun + power connector) are included and are fitted by you to the cable ends. Basic tools such as side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife are sufficient; no crimping tool is needed. The package includes 10 m of UTP cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can request this in the order comments (additional cost per metre as indicated on the store page).
In the pre-terminated package, the camera cables are supplied with factory-fitted connectors that are not removable. This allows tool-free installation: simply connect the recorder, camera power supply and cameras.

Can I watch live and playback footage over the internet? Yes. If the DVR is connected to the internet and you install the manufacturer’s mobile app or PC software, you can access live and recorded footage remotely from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes. The DVR does not require internet for recording and local playback. You will need a suitable internal hard drive (HDD, not included) to store the recordings. You can review the stored footage directly on the DVR.
Should I use motion detection or continuous recording? Motion-based recording is generally recommended, as the DVR records only when movement is detected. This helps optimise storage space and makes it easier and faster to review relevant events.
Do I need to manually delete old recordings? No. When the hard drive is full, the DVR automatically overwrites the oldest recordings, so manual deletion is not required.
What is the recommended maximum cable length for the cameras? For reliable power supply, a maximum cable length of around 30 m per camera is generally recommended with the included cabling options. For longer distances, a regulated power supply or local power near the camera may be required.
