Our Hikvision 5 megapixel security camera kit is an effective solution for outdoor and indoor surveillance of family homes, offices, apartments and business premises. The package includes a 5 megapixel Hikvision security camera (DS-2CE17H0T-IT3F), which delivers excellent image quality in complete darkness up to 40 metres thanks to its built-in IR LEDs. The camera system also includes an 8-channel TurboHD 5MP DVR recorder (DVR-208Q-M1) with remote access, so you can monitor and manage the system from your phone. The DVR interface is available in Hungarian. The Hikvision DS-2CE17H0T-IT3F 5MP security camera uses high-performance built-in IR LEDs to provide night vision of up to 40 metres, so it can capture clear images even without external lighting. The 2.8 mm lens offers an approx. 90° field of view, allowing you to monitor a wider area. The modern bullet design of the Hikvision security camera makes it suitable for both ceiling and wall mounting. In addition, its IP67-rated plastic housing is designed for use in outdoor environments.
The Hikvision HiLook DVR-208Q-M1 TurboHD-TVI analog desktop DVR is a versatile recorder that can handle most analog cameras up to 5 megapixel resolution. Thanks to the HDMI connection, recordings can be viewed on a large-screen TV or a computer monitor. The DVR supports 8 channels HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS and 2 IP channels (by converting analog channels to IP, a total of 10 channels are available). Motion Detection 2.0 is available on the analog channels; it can distinguish vehicles and human shapes from other objects such as leaves or lights, which helps reduce false alarms and results in more accurate motion-triggered recordings. It is compatible with the Hik-Connect app, so camera images can be viewed remotely over the internet from a phone or computer. It comes with a Hungarian language menu and mobile app support.
For our camera systems you can choose between two cable packages: a DIY kit and a pre-assembled cable kit.
DIY kit: Only a single cable per camera needs to be run to the central unit, carrying both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the user to the cable ends – to help with this, we provide a step-by-step installation guide, available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills the system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 metres of UTP cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can let us know in the order notes (+180 Ft/metre).
Pre-assembled cable kit: In this option, the connectors are already factory-fitted to the camera cables and cannot be removed. This allows you to simply connect the DVR, power supply and cameras without additional wiring work. The standard kit includes 10 metres of COX10 cable per camera. If you need longer cables, just note this when ordering (also available in 20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 versions).
The Hik-Connect app allows users to manage their Hikvision security devices from a single platform. On a computer, a web interface is available after registration, where devices can be added using their serial numbers. The application provides live view, playback and device configuration options. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also lets you share camera views with family members or other trusted people.
