The Hikvision DS-2CE78K0T-LFS security camera is a 5 megapixel 3K camera with hybrid light and colour night image, suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. Colour night vision is provided by Smart Hybrid LEDs: the camera is equipped with IR LEDs with up to 40 m range and white light illumination with up to 20 m range. When paired with an advanced recorder, it can automatically switch the lighting mode (to white light) when it detects a human figure or vehicle, capturing detailed colour footage. Once no important object is detected, it switches back to high-performance infrared LED illumination. This function can also be adjusted manually; you can choose to use only one illumination mode. Thanks to its robust design, it is suitable for outdoor installation as well. Its IP67 protection rating indicates that the camera withstands harsh weather conditions. With its built-in microphone, it can also record audio.
The Hikvision 7108HQHI-M1/S TurboHD-TVI analogue desktop DVR recorder is a versatile device that can handle most analogue cameras up to 5 megapixel resolution. Thanks to the HDMI connection, footage can be viewed on a large-screen TV, but a computer monitor can also be connected. The DVR supports 8 HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS channels and 4 IP channels (by switching analogue channels to IP, a total of 12 channels are available). Motion Detection 2.0 is available on the analogue channels and can distinguish vehicles and human figures from other objects such as leaves or lights, significantly reducing false alarms and providing more accurate motion-triggered recordings. It is compatible with the Hik-Connect app, so you can view the security camera images via the internet from your phone or computer. It comes with a Hungarian-language menu and mobile app.
For our camera systems, customers can choose between two packages: DIY package and pre-assembled cable package.
DIY package: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable, which carries both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted to the cable ends by the customer – to help with this, we have prepared an installation guide available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 m of UTP cable per camera. If you need more cable, simply let us know in the order comments (+100 Ft/meter).
Pre-assembled cable package: In this case, the connectors are factory-fitted to the camera cable ends and cannot be removed, so you only need to connect the recorder, camera power supply and camera – no installation work required. The basic package includes 10 m of camera cable with BNC and 12V power connectors per camera. If you need more cable, simply let us know in the order comments (also available in 20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 versions).
The Hik-Connect app allows users to fully manage their security devices from a single platform. On a computer, an online interface is available after registration, where you can add your devices using their serial numbers. The application provides live view, playback and device settings. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share the camera view with family members and relatives.
