The Hikvision DS-2CE16H0T-ITPFS 5MP security camera uses built-in EXIR LEDs (infrared) to provide up to 30 metres of night vision, so it can capture clear images even without additional lighting. The 2.8 mm lens offers an approximately 90-degree field of view, allowing you to monitor a wider area. The modern bullet design of the Hikvision security camera enables both ceiling and wall mounting. In addition, the IP67-rated weatherproof housing makes the camera suitable for outdoor use in various weather conditions. It has a built-in microphone, so it can record audio as well.

The Hikvision iDS-7104HQHI-M1/S TurboHD-TVI analogue desktop DVR recorder is a versatile device that can handle most analogue cameras up to 5 megapixel resolution. Thanks to the HDMI connection, footage can be viewed on a large-screen TV, but you can also connect a computer monitor. The DVR supports 4 channels of HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS and 2 IP channels (by converting analogue to IP, you can use up to 6 channels in total). Motion Detection 2.0 is available on the analogue channels, which can distinguish vehicles and human shapes from other objects such as leaves or lights, significantly reducing false alarms and making motion events easier to review. It is compatible with the Hik-Connect app, so you can view your security cameras remotely via the internet from your phone or computer. It offers a Hungarian language menu and mobile application.

For our camera systems, customers can choose between two installation packages: DIY package and pre-assembled cable package.

DIY package: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable that carries both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer to the cable ends – to help with this, we have prepared an installation guide, available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 metres of UTP cable per camera. If you need more cable, you can let us know in the comment section when placing your order (+180 Ft/metre).

Pre-assembled cable package: In this case, the connectors are already factory-fitted to the camera cable ends and cannot be removed, but installation is extremely simple – you only need to connect the recorder, camera power supply and camera, with no additional wiring work. The basic package includes 10 metres of COX10 cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order comments (also available in 20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 versions).

The Hik-Connect app allows users to manage their security devices from a single platform. On a computer, an online interface is available after registration, where you can add your devices using their serial numbers. The application provides live view, playback and device configuration options. Users can customise notifications and manage their devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera access with family members and relatives.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the camera system

Can I view live images and recordings over the internet? Yes, if you connect the DVR recorder to the internet and install the manufacturer’s app or software on your smartphone or computer. This gives you remote access to live video and recorded footage, so you can check the monitored areas from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes, the DVR does not require an internet connection if you only want to review footage locally. The DVR needs an internal hard drive (HDD, not included with the camera systems), which provides enough storage for the recorded images. You can replay the recordings stored on the hard drive at any time.
Is it better to use motion detection or continuous recording on the DVR? We recommend using motion detection, as the DVR will only record when it detects movement, reducing storage requirements and wear on the drive. This also saves time when reviewing footage and makes it easier to jump directly to relevant events.
Do I need to manually delete recordings after a certain time? No manual deletion is required, as the system manages storage automatically. When the hard drive reaches its maximum capacity, the DVR overwrites the oldest recordings with new ones.
What is the maximum recommended cable length for the cameras? The recommended maximum cable length is 30 metres to ensure stable power supply to the cameras. Longer distances may affect camera performance. For greater distances, a regulated power supply or powering the camera from a closer point is recommended.
