Dahua 8 megapixel security camera system kit designed for effective outdoor monitoring of family homes, offices, apartments and business premises. The package includes six 8 megapixel 4K security cameras (HAC-HDW1800TL-A) that deliver crystal-clear image quality even in complete darkness up to 30 metres, thanks to the built-in Smart IR LEDs and the ultra-high resolution. The cameras are also equipped with a built-in microphone for audio recording. The system includes an 8-channel HDCVI 8 megapixel XVR digital recorder (XVR5108HS-4KL-I3) that supports face recognition as well as human and vehicle detection. These smart video analytics features help efficient operation and make it easier to identify perpetrators in real situations. The recorder interface is also available in Hungarian. Thanks to the included installation kit (camera power supply, video baluns, UTP cable, power connector), the system is easy to install and operate, making it an ideal choice even for users with limited technical experience.

The Dahua HAC-HDW1800TL-A is a high-end 8 megapixel indoor/outdoor analogue security camera. It delivers outstanding image quality day and night thanks to its high-performance IR LEDs and 4K lens, providing visibility up to 30 metres even in complete darkness. Its metal and plastic housing has an IP67 rating, meaning it withstands weather conditions such as rain, dust and sunlight. It supports AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS modes, making it compatible with most analogue systems. The camera includes modern features such as noise reduction and backlight compensation to improve image quality in various lighting conditions. The Dahua XVR5108HS-4KL-I3 XVR/DVR recorder provides reliable hybrid digital video recording. As a hybrid recorder, it supports both analogue and advanced IP cameras with excellent image quality and features. It offers 8 AHD/CVI/TVI/analogue inputs and can additionally handle 8 IP camera channels. The DVR supports 4K HDMI output, so camera images can be viewed in 4K on a TV or monitor. WizSense technology provides intelligent human and vehicle detection, helping to reduce false alarms. It supports face recognition cameras and their functions, which can be very useful in critical situations by making identification easier. With remote access capability and a stable internet connection, it can send live and recorded footage to smartphones, tablets and computers, so you can check your cameras from virtually anywhere. The recorder has a Hungarian-language menu.

Camera system installation kit with all essential components

For our camera systems, customers can choose between two options: a DIY installation kit and a pre-assembled cable kit.

DIY installation kit: Only a single cable per camera needs to be run to the central unit, carrying both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer to the end of the cable – to help with this, we have prepared a step-by-step installation guide, available at the following link: Installation guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is needed, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The kit includes 10 metres of UTP cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can let us know in the order comments (+180 Ft/metre).

Pre-assembled cable kit: In this case, the connectors are already factory-fitted to the camera cables and cannot be removed, so you only need to connect the recorder, camera power supply and cameras – no wiring work required. The basic kit includes 10 metres of COX10 cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order comments (20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 options are also available).

Mobile access via DMSS app, with Hungarian language support

The Dahua DMSS app allows users to manage all their security devices from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also lets you share camera access with family members or other trusted people. To download, search for "DMSS" in the Play Store or App Store.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the camera system

Can I view live or recorded footage from the cameras over the internet? Yes, if you connect the DVR recorder to the internet and install the manufacturer’s app or software on your mobile phone or computer. This gives you remote access to both recorded footage and live video, so you can monitor your property from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes, the DVR recorder does not require an internet connection if you only want to review footage locally. The DVR needs an internal hard drive (HDD, not included with the camera systems) that provides enough storage for recorded footage. You can play back the recordings stored on the hard drive at any time.
Is it better to set motion detection or continuous recording on the DVR? We recommend motion detection, as the DVR then records only when movement is detected, which optimises storage usage and reduces wear on the hard drive. This also makes it easier and faster to review relevant events instead of scrolling through long, uneventful recordings.
Do I need to delete recordings manually after a certain time? No manual deletion is necessary. The system automatically manages storage: when the hard drive reaches full capacity, the DVR starts overwriting the oldest recordings.
What is the maximum recommended cable length between the cameras and the recorder? The recommended maximum cable length is 30 metres to ensure stable power supply to the cameras. Longer distances may affect camera performance. For greater distances, a regulated power supply or local powering of the camera is required.
