Our Dahua 8 megapixel security camera system offers an effective solution for outdoor monitoring of family homes, offices, apartments and business premises. The kit includes four 8 megapixel 4K security cameras (HAC-HDW1800TL-A) which provide crystal-clear image quality in complete darkness up to 30 metres, thanks to the built-in Smart IR LEDs and the outstanding high resolution. The device is also equipped with a built-in microphone for audio recording. The camera system includes a 4-channel HDCVI 8 megapixel XVR digital recorder (XVR5104HS-4KL-I3), which supports face recognition as well as human and vehicle detection. These smart video analytics features help efficient operation and make it easier to identify offenders in real situations. The recorder interface is also available in Hungarian. With the included installation kit (camera power supply, video balun, UTP cable, power connector), the system is easy to install and operate, making it an ideal choice even for customers with limited technical experience.

The Dahua HAC-HDW1800TL-A is a high-end 8 megapixel indoor/outdoor analogue security camera. It delivers excellent image quality day and night thanks to its high-performance IR LEDs and 4K lens, providing visibility up to 30 metres even in complete darkness. Its metal and plastic housing is IP67 rated, meaning it is resistant to weather conditions such as rain, dust and sunlight. You can switch between AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS modes, so it is compatible with most analogue systems. The camera also includes modern features such as noise reduction and backlight compensation, which improve image quality under different lighting conditions. The device is equipped with a built-in microphone for audio recording.

The Dahua XVR5104HS-4KL-I3 XVR/DVR recorder provides reliable hybrid digital video recording. As a hybrid recorder, it supports both analogue and advanced IP cameras with excellent image quality and features. It offers 4 AHD/CVI/TVI/Analogue channels and 4 IP channels. The DVR supports 4K HDMI output, so camera images can be viewed in 4K on a TV or monitor. WizSense technology provides intelligent human and vehicle detection, helping to reduce false alarms. It supports face recognition cameras and their functions, which can be very useful in real situations as it makes identification much easier. With constant internet connection, the remote access feature allows you to view camera images on smartphones, tablets and computers, so you can check live events anytime, from anywhere with internet access. The recorder has a Hungarian language menu.

Camera system installation kit with all essential components

For our camera systems, customers can choose between two packages: DIY kit and pre-assembled cable kit.

DIY kit: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable that carries both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are installed by the customer on the cable ends – to help with this, we have created an installation guide available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 metres of UTP cable per camera. If you need more cable, you can indicate this in the order comments (+180 Ft/metre).

Pre-assembled cable kit: In this case, the connectors are already factory-installed on the camera cable ends and cannot be removed, but installation is very simple – you only need to connect the recorder, power supply and cameras, without any wiring work. The basic package includes 10 metres of COX10 cable per camera. If you need more cable, you can indicate this in the order comments (also available in 20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 versions).

Mobile access via DMSS app, with Hungarian language support

The Dahua DMSS app allows users to manage their security devices comprehensively from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera access with family members or relatives. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the camera system

Can I view live and recorded footage over the internet? Yes, if you connect the DVR recorder to the internet and download the manufacturer’s app or software to your mobile phone or computer. This gives you remote access to recorded and live video, so you can monitor your property from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes, the DVR recorder does not require an internet connection if you only want to review footage locally. The DVR needs an internal hard disk drive (HDD, not included with the camera systems) that provides enough storage for the recorded images. You can play back the stored recordings from the hard drive at any time.
Is it better to set motion detection or continuous recording on the DVR? We recommend motion detection, as the DVR will only record when motion is detected, which reduces storage usage and wear on the drive. This saves time when reviewing recordings and makes it easier to jump directly to important events.
Do I need to delete or manage recordings after a certain period? No manual deletion is required, as the system automatically manages storage. When the hard drive reaches full capacity, the DVR overwrites the oldest recordings with new ones.
What is the maximum recommended cable length for the cameras? The recommended maximum cable length is 30 metres to ensure reliable power supply and image transmission. Longer distances may affect camera performance. For greater distances, a regulated power supply or closer power source is required.
