Dahua 8 megapixel security camera system kit for effective outdoor monitoring of family homes, offices, apartments and business premises. The package includes one 8 megapixel 4K security camera (HAC-HFW1800TH-I4) which delivers crystal-clear image quality in complete darkness up to 40 metres thanks to its built-in Smart IR LEDs and high resolution. The camera system also includes a 4-channel HDCVI 8 megapixel XVR digital recorder (XVR5104HS-4KL-I3) that supports face recognition as well as human and vehicle detection. These smart video analytics functions help efficient operation and make it easier to identify perpetrators in real situations. The recorder interface is available in Hungarian. With the included installation kit (camera power supply, video balun, UTP cable, power connector) the system is easy to install and use, making it ideal even for customers with less technical experience.

The storage drive required for recording is not included; you can choose the capacity that best fits your needs. Suitable hard drives are available at this link. If you purchase the HDD from us, we will professionally install it in your selected camera system.

The Dahua HAC-HFW1800THP-I4 is a high-end 8 megapixel analogue outdoor security camera. It delivers excellent image quality day and night thanks to its high-performance IR LEDs and 4K lens, providing clear images up to 40 metres even in total darkness. Its metal and plastic housing has an IP67 rating, meaning it withstands rain, dust and sunlight. It supports AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS modes, so it is compatible with most analogue systems. The camera also features modern image enhancements such as noise reduction and backlight compensation, improving image quality in varying lighting conditions.

The Dahua XVR5104HS-4KL-I3 XVR/DVR offers reliable hybrid digital video recording. As a hybrid recorder, it supports both analogue and advanced IP cameras, delivering high image quality and versatile features. It provides 4 AHD/CVI/TVI/analogue channels and 4 IP channels. The DVR supports 4K HDMI output, so camera images can be viewed in 4K on a TV or monitor. WizSense technology enables intelligent human and vehicle detection, helping reduce false alarms. It supports face recognition cameras and their functions, which can greatly simplify identification in real incidents. With remote access capability, once connected to a stable internet connection, it can send live and recorded video to smartphones, tablets and computers, so you can check your property from virtually anywhere. The recorder includes a Hungarian-language menu.

Complete installation kit with all necessary components

For our camera systems, customers can choose between two installation packages: DIY package or pre-assembled cable package.

DIY package: Only one cable per camera needs to be routed to the central unit; this single cable carries both power and video signal. The necessary connectors (video balun + power connector) are installed by the customer on the cable ends – to help with this, we provide an installation guide available at the following link: installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 metres of UTP cable per camera. If you need a longer cable, simply indicate this in the order notes (+180 Ft/metre).

Pre-assembled cable package: In this case, the connectors are factory-fitted to the camera cable and cannot be removed, so you only need to connect the recorder, camera power supply and camera – no wiring work is required. The basic package includes 10 metres of COX10 cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order notes (20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 options are also available).

Mobile access via DMSS app with Hungarian language support

The Dahua DMSS app lets users manage their security devices from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It provides live view, playback and device configuration options. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. Frequently Asked Questions about the camera system

Can I view live or recorded footage over the internet? Yes, if you connect the DVR to the internet and install the manufacturer’s app or software on your smartphone or computer. This gives you remote access to live and recorded video, so you can monitor your property from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes, the DVR does not require an internet connection if you only want to view recordings locally. The DVR needs an internal hard drive (HDD, not included with the systems) that provides enough storage for the recorded footage. You can play back the recordings stored on the HDD at any time.
Is it better to use motion detection or continuous recording on the DVR? We recommend motion detection, as the DVR records only when movement is detected. This reduces storage usage and wear on the drive, saves time when reviewing footage and makes it easier to jump directly to relevant events.
Do I need to delete old recordings manually after a certain time? No manual deletion is necessary. The system manages storage automatically: when the hard drive reaches its maximum capacity, the DVR overwrites the oldest recordings.
What is the recommended maximum cable length between the cameras and the recorder? The recommended maximum cable length for stable power supply is 30 metres. Beyond this distance, the camera may not operate reliably. For longer runs, a regulated power supply or local power near the camera is recommended.
