Our Dahua 5 Megapixel security camera system kit is an effective solution for outdoor and indoor monitoring of family homes, offices, apartments and business premises. The package includes three 5 megapixel, 2K resolution security cameras that deliver clear image quality even in complete darkness up to 80 metres, thanks to the built-in Starlight IR LEDs. The camera system also includes a 4-channel HDCVI 5 MP XVR digital recorder with remote access, so you can view and manage the system from your phone. The recorder interface is available in Hungarian as well. With the included installation kit (camera power supply, video balun, UTP cable, power connector), the system is easy to install and operate, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a reliable security solution.

The storage drive required for recording is not included; you can choose the right capacity based on your needs. Suitable hard drives are available at this link. If you purchase the HDD from us, we will professionally install it in your selected camera system.

The Dahua HAC-HFW1500TH-I8 5MP security camera offers up to 80 metres of night vision thanks to its built-in Starlight LEDs, providing clear images even without external lighting. The 3.6 mm lens delivers an approx. 90-degree field of view, allowing you to monitor a wider area. The modern bullet design of the Dahua security camera makes it suitable for both ceiling and wall mounting. The plastic housing has an IP67 water- and dust-resistant rating, so it withstands changing weather conditions.

The Dahua HDCVI 2K desktop DVR recorder is designed to provide maximum flexibility and high resolution. Thanks to the HDMI connection, recordings can be viewed on a large-screen TV, but you can also connect a computer monitor. The XVR recorder supports 4 HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS channels and 2 IP channels (by converting analogue to IP, you can use up to 6 channels in total) at up to 5MP 2K, 20 FPS per channel. On the analogue channels, advanced object classification is available, which can distinguish vehicles and human shapes from other objects such as leaves or lights, significantly reducing false alarms. It includes 1 x SATA port (max. 6TB HDD, not included), 2 x USB 2.0 ports and a 100 Mbps RJ-45 network port.

Complete camera system installation kit with all required components

For our camera systems, you can choose between two packages: DIY installation kit and pre-assembled cable kit.

DIY installation kit: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable, which carries both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer to the cable ends – to help with this, we have prepared an installation guide available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 metres of UTP cable per camera. If you need more cable, simply let us know in the order comments (+180 Ft/metre).

Pre-assembled cable kit: In this case, the connectors are factory-fitted to the camera cable ends and cannot be removed, so you only need to plug the recorder, power supply and cameras together – no wiring work is required. The base package includes 10 metres of COX10 cable per camera. If you need more cable, you can indicate this in the order comments (also available in 20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 versions).

Mobile access via DMSS app, available in Hungarian

The Dahua DMSS app lets users manage their security devices from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera views with family members or other authorised users. To download, search for "DMSS" in the Play Store or App Store.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the camera system

Can I view live images and recordings from the cameras over the internet? Yes, if you connect the DVR recorder to the internet and install the manufacturer’s app or software on your smartphone or computer. This gives you remote access to recorded footage and live video, so you can monitor the area from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes, the DVR recorder does not require an internet connection if you only want to view recordings locally. The DVR needs an internal hard drive (HDD, not included with the camera systems) that provides sufficient storage for the recorded footage. You can play back the recordings stored on the hard drive at any time.
Should I set motion detection or continuous recording on the DVR? We recommend motion detection recording, as the DVR only records when motion is detected, reducing storage usage and wear on the drive. This also saves time when reviewing footage and makes it easier to jump directly to relevant events.
Do I need to manually delete old recordings after a certain time? No manual deletion is required. The system manages storage automatically: when the hard drive reaches full capacity, the DVR overwrites the oldest recordings with new footage.
What is the maximum recommended cable length for the cameras? The recommended maximum cable length is 30 metres to ensure reliable power supply to the cameras. Beyond this distance, the camera operation may become unstable. For longer runs, a regulated power supply or powering the camera from a closer point is recommended.
