The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-K1 is an advanced AcuSense IP NVR that can manage up to 16 IP cameras with a maximum 12 MP resolution. It supports H.265+ video compression, helping to significantly reduce storage needs compared to older H.264 recorders. It supports a hard drive (HDD) up to 10 TB. The NVR offers 4K HDMI output, so camera images can be viewed in 4K on a TV or monitor. It includes a wide range of smart functions that improve surveillance efficiency and reduce the need for manual intervention. With AcuSense technology, the recorder provides advanced motion detection plus human/vehicle classification and analysis, helping to reduce false alarms. Face recognition features include face comparison and face detection. Smart search enables fast video retrieval in a selected area, while smart playback makes reviewing footage more efficient. Using the Hik-Connect app, you can remotely view the live feed from connected IP cameras on your phone. This NVR is not PoE capable, so camera power must be provided via a PoE switch or direct power supply. AcuSense functions are also available with limited capability when using non-AcuSense cameras.
