The Dahua IP camera system offers a smart surveillance solution with WizSense technology for your home, premises or shop, both outdoors and indoors. The system also includes an 8-channel Dahua 12-megapixel NVR recorder with remote access, so you can monitor it from your smartphone. In addition, the camera system comes with a 100W PoE switch that supplies power to the connected cameras. This means you only need a single UTP cable (included in the package) between the switch and each IP camera for installation. The Dahua IPC-HDW2849TM-S-IL is an 8-megapixel dome IP camera featuring Smart Dual Light technology, which automatically switches between IR and warm white light for optimal night monitoring at distances of up to 30 metres. WizSense technology provides intelligent human and vehicle detection to help reduce false alarms. When the camera detects a person approaching, the hybrid light activates and delivers a colour image even at night. The hybrid light can also be switched on or off manually. With IP67 protection, the camera is suitable for outdoor use. It supports H.265+ compression, which is especially important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space. A MicroSD card slot is available for local storage, and the camera is equipped with a built-in microphone.
The Dahua NVR2108-S3 is an 8-channel NVR that supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 12MP. It supports H.265+ video compression, which can reduce storage requirements by up to 75% compared with older H.264 recorders. It can handle a hard drive (HDD) of up to 16 TB. HDMI and VGA outputs can be used simultaneously at up to 1080p resolution, so you can connect both a TV and a monitor at the same time. With the DMSS app you can view the images from the IP cameras connected to the recorder remotely on your phone. The mobile app is also available in Hungarian. This NVR is not PoE capable, so the power supply for the security cameras must be provided via a PoE switch or directly.

Since the NVR does not supply power to the IP cameras, power must be provided via a PoE switch. From the switch to each camera you only need a single UTP cable, which carries both power and video signal. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No cable crimping is required: simply connect one end of the cable to the IP camera and the other end to the switch. The package includes a 10-metre UTP patch cable for each camera.
The Dahua DMSS app allows users to manage their security devices from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also lets you share camera access with family members or other authorised users. To download it, search for "DMSS" in the Play Store or the App Store.
