The biggest advantage of the Dahua alarm system is that it protects your home, office or shop without any wiring, drilling or structural work. All you need is a Wi-Fi connection and a smartphone. Control and notifications are handled via a free-to-download mobile app.
The kit includes a central unit (Hub) that can connect to multiple devices, one door/window contact, one PIR motion sensor and one remote control. The Hub requires a 12V 1.5A power supply, while the remote control, PIR and door contact operate on batteries (batteries and power supply included). The app displays the battery charge level of the devices.
In addition to push notifications to your phone, the Hub also provides visual alerts for arming, disarming, alarm and fault states. The system can be armed and disarmed via the app and/or using the included remote control.
