The Dahua HDW1500CLQ-IL-A dome camera system is an ideal solution for indoor and outdoor security monitoring of family homes, offices, apartments and business premises. The kit includes a 5 megapixel resolution dome security camera (HDW1500CLQ-IL-A) that delivers color night images even in complete darkness, thanks to its built-in Hybrid illumination with IR LEDs and white light providing a 20 m viewing range. This Dahua security camera system also includes an 8-channel DVR recorder (XVR5108HS-I2), which enables remote access so you can monitor footage from your phone. The recorder interface is available in Hungarian for easy operation. The set includes an installation kit (camera power supply, video balun, UTP cable, power connector), making installation and use straightforward.

Storage for recording is not included in the system; you can choose the capacity that best suits your needs. Suitable hard drives are available at this link. If you purchase the HDD from us, we will professionally install it in your chosen camera system.

The 5 megapixel resolution delivers excellent image quality with sharp, detailed footage even in low-light conditions. The IP67-rated housing is designed to withstand harsh weather and dusty environments. The camera also includes advanced features such as noise reduction and backlight compensation to improve image quality in varying lighting conditions. With its built-in microphone, it can record audio as well.

The Dahua HDCVI desktop DVR is designed to deliver maximum flexibility and high resolution. Thanks to the HDMI output, recordings can be viewed on a large-screen TV or a computer monitor. The XVR recorder supports 8 channels of HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS and 4 IP channels (by converting analogue to IP, up to 12 channels in total) at up to 5MP, 25 FPS per channel. On analogue channels, advanced object detection is available, distinguishing vehicles and people from other motion such as leaves or lights, significantly reducing false alarms. It includes 1 x SATA port (max. 16 TB HDD, not included), 2 x USB 2.0 ports and a 100 Mbps RJ-45 network port.

Camera system installation kits with all essential components

For our camera systems, customers can choose between two cable packages: a DIY kit and a pre-terminated cable kit.

DIY kit: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable carrying both power and video. The necessary connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer to the cable ends – to help with this, we have prepared an installation guide available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 m of UTP cable per camera. If you need more cable, simply let us know in the order comment field (+180 Ft/meter).

Pre-terminated cable kit: In this case, the camera cables are supplied with factory-fitted connectors that cannot be removed, so you only need to plug the recorder, power supply and cameras together with no wiring work. The basic package includes 10 m COX10 cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order comments (20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 options are also available).

Mobile access via DMSS app, with Hungarian language support

The Dahua DMSS app lets users manage all their security devices from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It provides live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customize notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera access with family members or other trusted people. To download, search for "DMSS" in the Play Store or App Store.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the camera system

Can I view live images and recordings over the internet? Yes, if you connect the DVR to the internet and install the manufacturer’s app or software on your smartphone or computer. This gives you remote access to both live and recorded footage, so you can monitor the area from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes, the DVR does not require an internet connection if you only want to view recordings locally. The DVR needs an internal hard drive (HDD, not included) to store the footage. You can play back the recordings stored on the HDD at any time.
Should I set motion detection or continuous recording on the DVR? We recommend motion detection, as the DVR will only record when movement is detected, reducing storage use and wear on the drive. This also saves time when reviewing footage and makes it easier to jump directly to relevant events.
Do I need to manually delete recordings after a certain time? No manual deletion is required. The DVR automatically manages storage and overwrites the oldest recordings once the hard drive reaches full capacity.
What is the maximum recommended cable length for the cameras? The recommended maximum cable length is 30 m to ensure stable power supply to the cameras. Beyond this distance, operation may become unreliable. For longer runs, a regulated power supply or powering the camera from a closer point is necessary.
