The AMIKO WIFI KIT-5900 camera system is an ideal solution for monitoring family homes, shops, holiday houses and warehouses. Its biggest advantage is that no cable is needed between the recorder unit with Hungarian menu and the cameras for video transmission – the signal is sent wirelessly. The cameras only need power, which is provided by the included adapters. The kit is pre-configured, so no pairing is required. Amiko is a brand with Hungarian representation and service, offering reliable, quality products.
The NVR recorder is equipped with a Hungarian language menu for easy setup and can be operated with the included mouse. Live view and settings are available on a TV or monitor via the HDMI or VGA outputs on the back of the unit.
Remote access is possible through a free application, so live view and recordings can be checked from a phone or computer from virtually anywhere with internet access.
By default, the kit does not record video; for this you need a hard drive (not included, max. 8 TB). The larger the HDD, the longer the recording time. Recording schedules are highly customisable: you can set motion detection, continuous recording, or time periods when no recording is made.
The wireless range between the recorder and the cameras is up to 300 m in open space under optimal conditions. Walls, buildings and other obstacles reduce this distance. The signal can be improved with a WiFi repeater, allowing camera installation in locations where the direct connection would otherwise be unstable.
The Amiko wireless WiFi security cameras do not require cabling for video transmission to the recorder, making installation straightforward. Each camera offers 5 megapixel resolution, providing significantly sharper images than standard 2 MP Full HD models.
The built-in 3.6 mm fixed lens provides an approximately 80–90° wide field of view. Night vision range is up to 25 m. The IP67-rated, water- and dust-resistant housing is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions.
The cameras feature hybrid night-vision LEDs that can switch from infrared to white light when a human shape is detected, enabling colour night images for easier identification. This function is adjustable. Each camera is equipped with a built-in microphone for audio capture.
The BitVision app allows users to watch live images from the security cameras and play back recorded footage remotely. Only a simple registration is required to use the app. After registering and logging in, the device is added to the app, and the camera images can then be viewed from a smartphone.
The BitVision application is available for both Android and iPhone devices.
