Dahua 8 megapixel security camera system kit designed for effective outdoor surveillance of family homes, offices, apartments and business premises. The package includes seven 8 megapixel 4K security cameras (HAC-HDW1800TL-A) that deliver crystal-clear image quality even in complete darkness up to 30 metres, thanks to the built-in Smart IR LEDs and the outstanding high resolution. Each camera is equipped with a built-in microphone for audio recording. The system also includes an 8-channel HDCVI 8 megapixel XVR digital recorder (XVR5108HS-4KL-I3) that supports face recognition as well as human and vehicle detection. These smart video analytics features help efficient operation and make it easier to identify offenders in real situations. The recorder’s user interface is also available in Hungarian. With the included installation kit (camera power supply, video balun, UTP cable, power connector) the system is easy to install and operate, making it an ideal choice even for customers with limited technical experience.

The Dahua HAC-HDW1800TL-A is a high-end 8 megapixel analogue indoor/outdoor security camera. It delivers excellent image quality day and night thanks to its high-performance IR LEDs and 4K lens, providing clear images up to 30 metres even in complete darkness. Its metal and plastic housing is IP67 rated, meaning it withstands harsh weather conditions (rain, dust, sunlight). It supports switchable AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS modes, making it compatible with most analogue systems. The camera includes modern features such as noise reduction and backlight compensation to improve image quality in various lighting conditions. A built-in microphone is also included for audio recording.

The Dahua XVR5108HS-4KL-I3 XVR/DVR recorder provides reliable hybrid digital video recording. As a hybrid recorder it supports both analogue and advanced IP cameras with excellent image quality and features. It offers 8 AHD/CVI/TVI/analogue inputs and can also handle 8 IP camera channels. The DVR supports 4K HDMI output, so camera images can be viewed in 4K on a TV or monitor. WizSense technology enables intelligent human and vehicle detection, helping to reduce false alarms. It supports face recognition cameras and their functions, which can be very useful in critical situations by making identification much easier. With remote access capability and a constant internet connection, the recorder can send live images to smartphones, tablets and computers, so you can check what is happening on site anytime, from anywhere. The recorder comes with a Hungarian language menu.

Complete installation kit for your camera system

For our camera systems, customers can choose between two cable packages: DIY package and pre-assembled cable package.

DIY package: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable, which carries both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer to the cable ends – to help with this we have created a detailed installation guide, available at the following link: Installation guide. With some basic technical skills the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 metres of UTP cable per camera. If you need more cable, simply let us know in the order comments (+180 Ft/metre).

Pre-assembled cable package: In this case, all connectors are factory-fitted to the camera cable ends and cannot be removed. Installation is therefore very simple – just connect the recorder, camera power supply and cameras, with no wiring work required. The basic package includes 10 metres of COX10 cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order comments (20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 options are also available).

Mobile access via DMSS app, with Hungarian language support

The Dahua DMSS app lets users manage all their security devices from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It provides live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the camera system

Can I watch live or playback recordings over the internet? Yes, if you connect the DVR recorder to the internet and install the manufacturer’s app or software on your mobile phone or computer. This gives you remote access to both live video and recorded footage, so you can monitor your property from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes, the DVR recorder does not require an internet connection if you only want to review footage locally. The DVR needs an internal hard disk drive (HDD, not included with the camera systems) to store the recordings. You can replay the stored footage from the hard drive at any time.
Is it better to use motion detection or continuous recording on the DVR? We recommend motion detection, as the DVR only records when movement is detected, which saves storage space and reduces drive usage. This also makes it easier and faster to review only the relevant events instead of long, empty periods.
Do I need to manually delete old recordings after a certain time? No manual deletion is required. The system manages storage automatically: when the hard drive reaches full capacity, the DVR overwrites the oldest recordings with new ones.
What is the maximum cable length between the cameras and the recorder? The recommended maximum cable length is 30 metres to ensure reliable power supply and stable operation. Longer distances may cause issues with camera performance. For greater distances, a regulated power supply or closer power injection is required.
