Our Dahua 8 megapixel security camera system offers an effective solution for outdoor monitoring of family homes, offices, apartments and business premises. The kit includes two 8 megapixel 4K security cameras (HAC-HDW1800TL-A) that deliver crystal-clear image quality in complete darkness up to 30 metres, thanks to built-in Smart IR LEDs and the high resolution. The device is also equipped with a built-in microphone, making it suitable for audio recording. The camera system includes a 4-channel HDCVI 8 megapixel XVR digital recorder (XVR5104HS-4KL-I3) that supports facial recognition as well as human and vehicle detection. These smart video analytics features help efficient operation and make it easier to identify offenders in real situations. The recorder interface is also available in Hungarian. With the included installation kit (camera power supply, video balun, UTP cable, power connector), the system is easy to install and operate, making it an ideal choice even for buyers with less technical experience.

The Dahua HAC-HDW1800TL-A is a high-end 8 megapixel analogue indoor/outdoor security camera. It delivers outstanding image quality day and night thanks to its high-performance IR LEDs and 4K lens, providing visibility up to 30 metres even in complete darkness. Its metal and plastic housing has an IP67 rating, meaning it withstands weather conditions such as rain, dust and sunlight. It supports switchable AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS modes, so it can be used with most analogue systems. The Dahua XVR5104HS-4KL-I3 XVR/DVR recorder provides reliable hybrid digital video recording. As a hybrid recorder, it supports both analogue and advanced IP cameras with excellent image quality and features. It offers 4 AHD/CVI/TVI/Analogue channels and 4 IP channels. The DVR supports 4K HDMI output, so camera images can be viewed in 4K on a TV or monitor. WizSense technology enables intelligent human and vehicle detection to help reduce false alarms. It supports facial recognition cameras and their functions, which can be very useful in real situations as it makes identification much easier. With remote access capability, once connected to a stable internet connection it can send camera images to smartphones, tablets and computers, so you can check live events anytime, from anywhere with internet access. The recorder comes with a Hungarian-language menu.

Camera system installation kit with all essential components

For our camera systems, customers can choose between two package types: DIY kit and pre-assembled cable kit.

DIY kit: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable that carries both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by the customer to the cable ends – to help with this we have prepared an installation guide available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 metres of UTP cable per camera. If you need more cable, simply let us know in the order comments (+180 Ft/metre).

Pre-assembled cable kit: In this case, the connectors are already factory-fitted to the camera cable and cannot be removed, but installation is simpler – you only need to connect the recorder, camera power supply and camera, with no wiring work. The basic kit includes 10 metres of COX10 cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order comments (20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 options are also available).

Mobile access via DMSS app, with Hungarian language support

The Dahua DMSS app allows users to manage their security devices in one platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera access with family members or relatives. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the camera system

Can I view live images and recordings over the internet? Yes, if you connect the DVR to the internet and install the manufacturer’s app or software on your mobile phone or computer. This provides remote access to recorded footage and live video, so you can monitor the area from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes, the DVR does not require an internet connection if you only want to view recordings locally. The DVR needs an internal hard drive (HDD, not included with the camera systems) that provides sufficient storage for the recorded footage. You can replay the recordings stored on the HDD at any time.
Should I set the DVR to motion detection or continuous recording? We recommend motion detection, as the DVR only records when movement is detected, reducing storage use and wear on the drive. This helps avoid unnecessary footage and makes it faster and easier to navigate to relevant events.
Do I need to delete old recordings after a certain time? No manual deletion is required, as the system manages storage automatically. The DVR overwrites the oldest recordings on the hard drive once it reaches full capacity.
What is the maximum recommended cable length for the cameras? The recommended maximum cable length is 30 metres to ensure reliable power supply to the cameras. Longer distances may cause operational issues. For greater distances, a regulated power supply or powering the camera from a closer point is required.
