Our Dahua 5 megapixel security camera system kit offers an effective solution for outdoor and indoor monitoring of family homes, offices, apartments and business premises. The package includes a 5 megapixel, 2K resolution security camera that delivers excellent image quality in complete darkness up to 80 metres thanks to its built-in Starlight IR LEDs. The camera system also contains a 4-channel HDCVI 5 MP XVR digital recorder with remote access, so you can view and manage footage via your phone. The recorder interface is available in Hungarian. With the included installation kit (camera power supply, video balun, UTP cable, power connector) the system is easy to install and operate, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking for a reliable security solution.

The Dahua HAC-HFW1500TH-I8 5MP security camera offers up to 80 metres night vision range with its built-in Starlight LEDs, so you get a clear view even without any ambient lighting. The 3.6 mm lens provides an approx. 90-degree field of view, allowing you to monitor a wider area. The modern bullet design of the Dahua security camera makes it suitable for ceiling or wall mounting alike. The plastic housing has an IP67 water- and dust-resistant rating, so it is designed to withstand changing outdoor weather conditions.

The Dahua HDCVI 2K desktop DVR recorder is designed to deliver maximum flexibility and high resolution. Thanks to the HDMI output, you can view recordings on a large-screen TV, or you can connect a computer monitor. The XVR recorder supports 4 channels HDTVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS and 2 IP channels (by converting analogue to IP you can use up to 6 channels in total) at up to 5MP 2K, 20 FPS/channel. On analogue channels you can enable advanced object classification, which distinguishes vehicles and human shapes from other objects such as leaves or light changes, helping to significantly reduce false alarms. It includes 1 x SATA port (max. 6TB HDD, not included), 2 x USB 2.0 and a 100 Mbps RJ-45 network port.

Camera system installer kit with all essential components

For our camera systems you can choose between two cabling options: DIY kit or pre-assembled cable kit.

DIY kit: From each camera to the central unit you only need to run a single cable that carries both power and video signal. The required connectors (video balun + power connector) are fitted by you to the cable ends – to help with this we have prepared an installation guide available at the following link: Installation and setup guide. With some basic technical skills the camera system can be assembled at home. No crimping tool is required, only side cutters, a screwdriver and a utility knife. The package includes 10 metres of UTP cable per camera. If you need more cable, simply let us know in the order comments (+180 Ft/metre).

Pre-assembled cable kit: In this case, the connectors are already factory-fitted to the camera cable ends and cannot be removed, so you only need to plug together the recorder, camera power supply and camera without any additional wiring work. The basic package includes 10 metres of COX10 cable per camera. If you need longer cables, you can indicate this in the order comments (also available in 20 m COX20 and 30 m COX30 versions).

Mobile access via DMSS app, with Hungarian language support

The Dahua DMSS app lets you manage all your security devices from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also allows you to share camera access with family members or relatives. Frequently Asked Questions about the camera system

Can I view live or recorded footage from the cameras over the internet? Yes, if you connect the DVR recorder to the internet and install the manufacturer’s app or software on your mobile phone or computer. This gives you remote access to recorded images and live video streams, so you can monitor the area from anywhere with an internet connection.
Can I use the camera system without an internet connection? Yes, the DVR recorder does not require an internet connection if you only want to view recordings locally. The DVR needs an internal hard drive (HDD, not included with the camera systems) that provides enough storage for the recorded footage. You can play back the recordings stored on the hard drive at any time.
Is it better to set motion detection or continuous recording on the DVR? We recommend motion detection, as the DVR only records when movement is detected, which reduces storage usage and wear on the drive. This also saves time when reviewing footage and makes it easier to quickly jump to the moments when events occurred.
Do I need to delete recordings after a certain period? No manual deletion is required, as the system manages storage automatically. When the hard drive reaches full capacity, the DVR recorder overwrites the oldest recordings with new ones.
What is the recommended maximum cable length for the cameras? A cable length of up to 30 metres is recommended to reliably supply power to the cameras. Beyond this distance, the camera’s operation may become unstable. For longer runs, you should use a regulated power supply or power the camera from a closer point.
