The Hikvision DS-7632NXI-K2 is an advanced AcuSense IP NVR that supports up to 32 IP cameras with a maximum 12MP resolution. It supports H.265+ video compression, helping to reduce storage requirements by up to 75% compared to older H.264-based recorders. The unit can host two hard drives (HDD), up to 16 TB each (HDD not included). The NVR supports 4K HDMI output, so camera images can be viewed in 4K on a TV or monitor. It offers a wide range of smart functions that improve surveillance efficiency and reduce the need for manual intervention. Thanks to AcuSense technology, the recorder provides advanced motion detection, as well as human/vehicle classification and analysis to help reduce false alarms. Face recognition features include face comparison and face detection. Smart search enables fast video retrieval in a selected area, while smart playback improves playback efficiency. Using the Hik-Connect app, you can remotely view the connected IP cameras from your phone. This NVR does not have built-in PoE, so camera power must be provided via a PoE switch or a separate power supply. The NVR’s AcuSense features are also available with limited capability when used with non-AcuSense cameras.
