The Dahua IPC-HDW2849TM-S-IL is an 8-megapixel dome IP camera featuring Smart Dual Light technology, automatically switching between IR and warm light for optimal night monitoring at distances of up to 30 metres. WizSense technology provides intelligent human and vehicle detection, helping reduce false alarms. When the camera detects a person approaching, the hybrid light turns on and delivers a colour image even at night. The hybrid light can also be switched on or off manually. With an IP67 rating, the camera is water-resistant. It supports H.265+ compression, which is especially important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space. A MicroSD card slot is available for local storage, and the camera is equipped with a built-in microphone.
The Dahua NVR2104-S3 is a 4-channel NVR IP recorder that supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 12MP. It supports H.265+ video compression, which can reduce storage requirements by up to 75% compared to older H.264-based recorders. It can handle hard drives (HDD) up to 16 TB. HDMI and VGA outputs can be used simultaneously at up to 1080p resolution, so you can connect both a TV and a monitor at the same time. Using the DMSS app, you can view the cameras connected to the NVR remotely from your phone. The mobile app is also available in Hungarian. This NVR is not PoE-capable, so the security camera power supply must be provided via a PoE switch or a direct power source.

Because the NVR recorder does not supply power to the IP camera, power must be provided via a PoE switch. From the switch to each camera you only need a single UTP cable, which carries both power and video signal. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No cable crimping is required; simply connect one end of the cable to the IP camera and the other end to the switch. The kit includes a 10-metre UTP patch cable per camera.
The Dahua DMSS app lets users manage all their security devices from a single platform. The app currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely.
