The system also includes an 8-channel Dahua 12 megapixel NVR recorder with remote access, so you can monitor it from your smartphone. In addition, the system comes with a 100W PoE switch that supplies power to the connected cameras. This means you only need 1 UTP cable (included) between the switch and each IP camera for installation. The Dahua IPC-HDW2449TM-S-IL is a 4 megapixel dome IP camera with Smart Dual Light technology, automatically switching between IR and warm light for optimal night surveillance up to 30 meters. WizSense technology provides intelligent human and vehicle detection, helping to reduce false alarms. When the camera detects a person approaching, the hybrid light turns on and delivers a color image even at night. The hybrid light can also be switched on or off manually. With IP67 protection, the camera is weather-resistant. It supports H.265+ compression, which is particularly important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space. It offers a MicroSD card slot for local storage, and the camera is equipped with a built-in microphone.
The Dahua NVR2108-S3 is an 8-channel NVR that supports IP cameras up to 12MP resolution. It supports H.265+ video compression, which can reduce storage requirements by up to 75% compared to older H.264 recorders. It can handle a hard drive (HDD) up to 16 TB. HDMI and VGA outputs can be used simultaneously with up to 1080p resolution, so you can connect both a TV and a monitor. With the DMSS app, you can view the cameras connected to the NVR remotely on your smartphone. The mobile app is also available in Hungarian. This NVR is not PoE capable, so the cameras must be powered via a PoE switch or directly.

Since the NVR does not supply power to the IP cameras, power must be provided via a PoE switch. Only 1 UTP cable per camera needs to be routed to the switch, carrying both power and video signal. With basic technical skills, the system can be assembled at home. No cable crimping is required: simply connect one end of the cable to the IP camera and the other end to the switch. The kit includes a 10-meter UTP patch cable for each camera.
The Dahua DMSS app lets users manage their security devices from a single platform. The app currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It provides live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customize notifications and manage devices remotely.
