The system also contains a 4‑channel Dahua 12‑megapixel NVR recorder with remote access, so you can monitor the system from your smartphone. In addition, the kit includes a 65W PoE switch that supplies power to the connected cameras. This means you only need a single UTP cable (included) between the switch and each IP camera for installation. The Dahua IPC-HDW2449TM-S-IL is a 4‑megapixel dome IP camera featuring Smart Dual Light technology, automatically switching between IR and warm light for optimal night monitoring at distances of up to 30 metres. WizSense technology offers intelligent human and vehicle detection, helping to reduce false alarms. When the camera detects a person approaching, the hybrid light switches on and provides colour images even at night. The hybrid light can also be switched on or off manually. With an IP67 rating, the camera is water‑resistant. It supports H.265+ compression, which is particularly important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space. A MicroSD card slot is available for local storage, and the camera is equipped with a built‑in microphone.
The Dahua NVR2104-S3 is a 4‑channel NVR IP recorder that supports IP cameras up to 12MP resolution. It supports H.265+ video compression, which can reduce storage requirements by up to 75% compared with older H.264 recorders. It can handle hard drives (HDD) up to 16 TB. HDMI and VGA outputs can be used simultaneously with up to 1080p resolution, so you can connect both a TV and a monitor at the same time. Using the DMSS app, you can view the cameras connected to the NVR remotely on your phone. The mobile app is also available in Hungarian. This NVR does not provide PoE power, so the cameras must be powered via a PoE switch or directly.

Since the NVR does not supply power to the IP cameras, a PoE switch is required for power. From the switch unit, you only need a single UTP cable per camera; both power and video signal run through this cable. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No cable crimping is required – simply plug one end of the cable into the IP camera and the other end into the switch. The kit includes a 10‑metre UTP patch cable for each camera.
The Dahua DMSS app allows users to manage all their security devices from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It offers live view, playback and device configuration. Users can customise notifications and manage devices remotely. The app also lets you share camera access with family members or relatives.
