The system also contains a 4‑channel Dahua 12‑megapixel NVR recorder with remote access, so you can monitor the system from your smartphone. In addition, the kit comes with a 65 W PoE switch that supplies power to the connected cameras. This means you only need a single UTP cable (included in the package) between the switch and each IP camera for installation. The Dahua IPC-HFW2449S-S-IL is a 4‑megapixel IP camera featuring Smart Dual Light technology, automatically switching between IR and warm white light for optimal night monitoring at distances of up to 30 m. WizSense technology provides intelligent human and vehicle detection to help reduce false alarms. When the camera detects a person approaching, the hybrid light turns on and the camera records a color image even at night. The hybrid light can also be switched on or off manually. With an IP67 rating, the camera is water‑resistant. It supports H.265+ compression, which is especially important for IP cameras as it reduces required bandwidth and storage space. It offers a MicroSD card slot for local recording and comes with a built‑in microphone.
The Dahua NVR2104-S3 is a 4‑channel IP NVR that supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 12 MP. It supports H.265+ video compression, which can reduce storage needs by up to 75% compared with older H.264 recorders. It can handle a hard drive (HDD) of up to 16 TB. HDMI and VGA outputs can be used simultaneously with a maximum resolution of 1080p, so you can connect both a TV and a monitor at the same time. Using the DMSS app, you can view the live image from the connected IP cameras remotely on your phone. The mobile application is also available in Hungarian. This NVR is not PoE‑enabled, so the cameras must be powered via a PoE switch or with a separate power supply.

Since the NVR does not supply power to the IP cameras, a PoE switch is required for power delivery. Only one UTP cable per camera needs to be run to the switch; both power and video signal are transmitted over this single cable. With some basic technical skills, the camera system can be assembled at home. No cable crimping is needed – simply plug one end of the cable into the IP camera and the other end into the switch. The package includes a 10 m UTP patch cable for each camera.
The Dahua DMSS app lets users manage all their security devices from a single platform. The application currently supports 29 languages, including Hungarian. It provides live view, playback and device configuration options. Users can customize notifications and manage devices remotely.
